Frequently Asked Questions
-
Yes — healing from trauma is absolutely possible. Trauma doesn’t mean something is “wrong” with you; it means your nervous system adapted to keep you safe. With the right support, those protective patterns can soften over time.
Healing doesn’t require reliving or retelling every detail of what happened. While working together, we focus on restoring safety, regulation, and connection in your body and nervous system. The process is gentle, paced, and collaborative — and it honors your resilience every step of the way.
-
No. You are never required to share details you’re not ready for.
Much of our work focuses on what’s happening now — how your body responds to stress, how anxiety or overwhelm shows up, and how to create more safety and stability in your nervous system. Healing can happen without recounting or re-experiencing traumatic events.

My work is trauma-informed and nervous-system based. I integrate somatic experiencing, body awareness, and gentle talk therapy to help you feel safer, more regulated, and more connected to yourself.
This isn’t about pushing through or fixing yourself.
It’s about listening, slowing down, and allowing your system to find balance again. -
Individual therapy sessions are 55 minutes and are $180 per session.
Payment is due at the time of service. I’m happy to provide a superbill upon request if you’d like to seek out-of-network reimbursement through your insurance provider.
-
I am a private-pay practice and do not accept insurance directly.
This allows us greater flexibility, privacy, and depth in our work together — without diagnosis requirements or treatment limitations imposed by insurance companies. Superbills are available for clients who wish to pursue reimbursement.

Most clients begin with weekly sessions, especially when working with anxiety, trauma, or nervous-system regulation. As things stabilize, we may shift to biweekly sessions based on your needs and goals.

Feeling safe, seen, and respected in therapy matters. If you’re looking for a slower, body-based, compassionate approach — and a space where you don’t have to perform or have it all figured out — this work may be a good fit.
You’re welcome to schedule a consultation to ask questions and see how it feels to connect.
